CONNECTIONS AIRPORT TO TURIN CENTER

Turin’s airport, Caselle is 17 km north of the city and is used by domestic and international traffic. It is connected by buses every 30-45 min with Porta Susa and Porta Nuova train stations the cost is € 7,5.
The flat-rate taxi service to or from the airport costs about € 40.

 
 
 

Railway stations

Turin’s main train station is Porta Susa on Corso Bolzano, west of the centre. Some trains also stop at Porta Nuova on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II at the southern end of Via Roma , which is more convenient for the city centre. See www.trenitalia.com for timetables.

GETTING AROUND

On foot: The best way to see Turin is by walking. Almost all of the major sight can be reached from Porta Nuova station, and the mainly pedestrian centre means that walking is stress-free.

By metro: Turin’s metro service is limited but fast,efficient, safe and clean. Single tickets cost € 1,70 and are valid for 90 min.

City Sightseeing Torino: This red double-decker plies a hop-on-hop-off circular route  that takes in the major sights.

By bike: With its wide avenues, relatively car-free centre, grid system and some 40km of bicycle paths,many along the picturesque rivers, Turin is ideal for cyclists. A bike-sharing system, with over a hundreddrop-off points, makes this a great way to see the city.
